Aunt Alissa and Uncle Bob came out to visit when I was 6 weeks old. I was so little, but I didn't like hearing it. I cried every time Aunt Alissa said I was small...and every time someone said I was a happy baby. So everyone started calling me an "HB" so I wouldn't catch on.
A week or so after they visited, I took my first trip to Ohio. Traveling to new places and meeting family was so exhausting, I just had to pass out on Grams.
Aunt Alissa bought me a John Wayne onesie. I had to prove I was tough enough to wear The Duke on my shirt, so I tried to pick fights with everyone. They just laughed though...I'm still not sure why they weren't more intimidated.
Uncle Bob is cool and taught me to fist bump!
Then in October, Aunt Alissa came out on a spur-of-the-moment visit. We had so much fun - but entertaining your Aunt is exhausting work!
While she visited, I got to take my first pony ride...
...and met a turkey. I wasn't sure what to make of him. He was a lot bigger than me.
The week after Christmas, Mom, Dad and I went back to Ohio. While I was there, I caught myself a Grumps. See? He's still on his leash. I wouldn't let him get away.
Wrestling with a Grumps is dirty work, so Mom and Grams made me take a bath.
Splashing is so much fun!
I love baths!
Afterwards, Grams wrapped me up in a towel, kept me warm and told me how cute I was. What was she thinking - of course I was cute! You can't wash that off in a bath!
I also visited Great-Grandma Lucy's house and had so much fun mugging for the camera.
I love my family - I always have fun when they are around.
