A hauntingly fun Halloween!
Our little Superman had spooky and special Halloween this year. We started the night at McDonald's, where Landon saw a lady wearing cat ears, and immediately started staring and pointing and saying, "Kitty! Hi, kitty! Meow! Meow, kitty!"
God bless her, the lady smiled and meowed back at Landon. All through dinner, they meowed and jabbered at each other. As she and her family were getting ready to leave, Landon waved at her and said, "Bye, kitty! Meow, meow! Bye-bye, kitty!"
Then we headed home to change into his costume. He cried when I put it on him, so I didn't think we make it that far on the trick-or-treat trail. But the little super hero was a real trooper and we made it to every house in the neighborhood. Landon tried to remember his manners, but most of the time forgot to say thank you until we were away from the houses and back on sidewalk. He invited himself into someone's house and walked right in the front door. He chase the other kids and jabbered and chattered away to them. Instead of saying, "Trick or treat!"to a few people, he decided they'd be more interested in hearing what a kitty says.
In short, he had a great time!
Once we got home, he was exhausted but wired. We spent some time playing and running around before he conked out for the night.
